Music is one of those things I can't live without. Music calms me down, releases my emotions. It brings the liveliness in life. Its my source of inspiration, expression and everything.
The message...the fun beats...the rhythms... everything helps me in keeping myself sane.
Motherhood brings the tsunami of emotions and you gotta find the way out. Music is kind of; knight on a white charger!!
Here are my top 5 songs which keep me going on on bad days...
Some are serious some are fun....
1. Rockbye by Clean bandit
Sounds like a fun song but lyrics are pretty serious.
All it says is, you have to do anything to make your baby Happy and give him a decent life.
All the sacrifices and struggles are real and are worth it!!!
2. Me too by Meghan Trainor
One of my favorites!! This song is so body positive.
Be satisfied with who your are, what you are!!
She wants females to stop wanting to be someone else and to embrace themselves.
3. Shake it off by Taylor swift
I don't think I have to tell about this.
As a mother I can so relate to the lyrics...as the haters gonna hate hate...so shake it off!!
Enough right??
4. Happy by pharral williams
A roofless room has no boundaries and no limits, so your happiness can soar to new heights with no ceiling. However, when you are in a room without a roof and it’s raining, are you screwed? Not if you want.
Some people doesn't like things which makes them happy and that's the tragedy. The songs reminds you to be happy.
5. Run the world by Beyonce
Woman empowerment is all about this song I felt last year!!;
It says , "girls we run this mother”. To indicate women run the world.Showing that women have power.
It states ” “My persuasion can build a nation.Endless power our love we; can devour. You’ll do anything for me.” Power is normally known as a masculine trait.
But then she talks about women being able to have children and go right back to work when she says “strong enough to bear the children then get back ”.
That shows the utmost power and strength to me. Not only can woman do a man’s job we can also have our jobs as women to raise and provide for our families.
So here's my list!!! Tell me what's your favorite!!!?
