I'm sharing what my baby eats in a day:(. ) I'm very lucky that my baby is not a fussy eater. She eats everything whatever we give her. Each baby is different and they take their own time, and for us after 14 attempts she started eating properly So what we did to make her eat. At the starting of weaning I was very upset why my baby is not eating properly. I used to wonder what to give or not to give.When she turned 9 months , we started serving; her food in our plates just to make her feel "mommy also eat same thing and gave her live demonstrations too and papa did the same thinng. That worked for us.
This is my baby's daily routine:-
7 :00- 7:30 am wake up time, I always give her some warm water 4-5 sips .Its very beneficial for health. 7:30 am -7:45 am - in breakfast I give her parathas she likes aloo parathas, paneer parathas , fresh methi parathas, poha, semolina upma, oats upma. My baby don't like sweet dishes like suji kheer and all; in the morning so I prefer to give these. 8:10am -9 am play time indoor games . 9:30 am- 1 cup of milk (200ml approx cows milk ) and always add nuts powder. 10 :00 am - maalish and bath 10:30 am reading books birds and animals. 11 :00 am morning snacks like apple juice/ mango /kiwi/orange /bananas. 11:30 am 1st nap 12:30 wokes up 1:00 pm I always give mix veg curry with dal and rice and sometimes I give sweet yogurt or raita/ egg curry/fish fry /chicken keema . I prefer desi khand and misri for sweetness. 1:30 pm; she spends some time with her grandparents. 2:30 pm -3 :00 pm milk one cup and go for 2nd nap. 4:30 pm evening snacks I give her fruit custard/ suji kheer/makhana kheer/ sabudana kheer/ oats dates kheer/aate ka kheer. 5:30 -6:30 pm we head to the park and we both spends some time there. 7:00-7:15 pm dinner 2 multi grain roti / palak Puri /sweet potatoes wali Puri/ in curry I give; aloo curry/paneer curry/ bottle gourd curry whatever is available. 8:45: - 9:00 pm - 250 ml milk with 1 tsp nuts powder. 9:15-9:30 pm sleep time. Avoid Sugar that has no health benefits, for salt I would say less is more , avoid giving biscuits zero nutritional value, avoid using packet juices that is full of preservatives and artificial flavours make fresh one for your baby and avoid refined flour.
