#MommyTakeover
Two States:

Taking my introduction ahead I am mom of two kids and a beautiful dog. Engineer by education and working in human resource field.

When I was a kid, we had this family pandit ji who was a good fortune teller. One day he told my mom that I will do a “love marriage”. I was very young may be in class 6 or 7. I told my mom I will always live with her because the pandit ji said I will do love marriage then I will make sure I don’t love any one so that I stay with you forever, my mom used to laugh over it.

And would you believe I got married when I was 22yrs, I cleared my engineering in 2004 and got married in 2005… love was in the air… it still is ❤️💖💗💖

I met my husband Nikunj for the first time when we were in third year, we both were anchoring the prize distribution program of our college fest. I was a very studious kind of a student and he was a celebrity. He still can’t believe that before we met on stage, I never knew about him. Friendship grew and on the last day of our 7th semester exam post paper he proposed me…. Though I liked him a lot never saw what was coming. I rejected his proposal because I was sure my parents won’t agree to this and I couldn't hurt them.

The next day he sent a message thru one of the common friends that he just wants to speak to me and will be waiting in college canteen, I wanted to convey to him that I won’t make it as I’m not free and I have a final practical exam. So I sent my roommate who was junior to me to tell him the same…. And oh my my… she went there and told him how sad I was after rejecting his proposal and what I truly feel for him. OH!! My goodness he asked her to tell me he will wait in the canteen no matter what time I come.

Finally I went at around 3PM hoping he must have left as he was there since morning 7AM, but he was there, waiting….. And I couldn't resist myself and said yes.

He is from bihar and I’m a maharastrian. It was a tough task to convince our parents for this interstate marriage. My brother now says when he watches the movie two states starting aalia and arjun Kapoor he sees so many similarities. But luckily they loved us enough to see us happy and we got married. Now we have a family with three kids. It's Happily ever after 😘😍😘😍
What’s your love story? I’m sure we have many inter-state marriages here, common pour in.
