#momsmadness it is often told to not give salt to a baby before one year but my 10 month old daughter hates to eat solids without a pinch of salt to taste...

Preetjyot yup u r right....I also break some rules of parenting...my style is like experiment and learn method....eg,its said not to introduce cows milk to baby less than 1 yr...I gave my baby cows milk with cereals but she had digestion problems n was crying all night...I felt bad for her n stopped that...but salt usage in my opinion is not such harmful....

Anjana this one is damn tricky question for me personally... I follow my pediac... I have always given similar food to my girls as Wat we eat... And due to this my girls hasn't been much fussy eater... My mom gave me salt and I did fine, and so did most of ours... I don't encourage salt and sugar usage but I do believe that away from all d researches stays a moms heart... Who knows the best for her baby... If u feel like doing something for ur baby go ahead... I personally break a lot of stereotypical rules of parenting but that's our little secret... And my girls are enjoying everybit

extra salt hampers with the kidney development of your child. up to one year, salt present naturally in foods is sufficient. now you get to judge what you want to do :-)
