babies are not taught actually.... they self learn with observation...I shout and people and teach my child to be polite... he'll throw at my face .... it's irony but truth...the family and surrounding shapes the child behavior...keep a watch, never force them to do anything and set examples are the keys to make them whatever you want them to be....

yes, really important to inculcate good manners n kids n the growing years...right now IAM teaching my son table manners as he has started to eat by himself.

Yes it is important, right now she's very small to understand this but I"ll teach her to respect elders,  be helpful and not to hurt anyone.
