Moong dal khichdi is a super quick and easy-to-digest food for babies aged 6 months and above. It’s a healthy food option that keeps your little one full for a longer period of time and also provides him/her with essential vitamins and nutrients.
Ingredients:
¼ cup rice
2 tbsp moong dal
¼ tsp ghee
Cumin powder 
Turmeric powder
Salt
How to prepare:
- In a pressure cooker add ¼ cup rice and 2 tbsp moong dal
- To this add a pinch of cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt
- Now add ¼ tsp ghee and mix well
- Add 2 cups water and cook it for 6-7 whistles
- Allow the steam to escape and the mixture to cool down slightly
- Add the mixture to the blender and blend it to smooth paste
- Transfer it to a bowl and serve
