Moong Dal Ragi Porridge

Ingredients :
1. Moong Dal - 1 tbsp powdered
2. Ragi powder - 1 tbsp
3. Ghee - ½ Tsp
4. Date puree can be used for sweetening however do not feed sugar / honey to babies below 12 months
5. Water/Breastmilk/Formula - As required


Preparation :
1. Add ragi and moong dal powder into a pan. Then add ½ cup of water to it.
2. Add ½ tsp of ghee.Mix it well with a whisk so that no lumps are formed.
3. Cook the ragi moong dal powder in low, medium flame for 5 minutes .
4. Stir it continuously while cooking otherwise it may stick to the vessel.
5. Once it is cooked, add dates powder/palm sugar powder (if using).
6. Mix well. Cook it further for 2-3 minutes with continuous stirring.
7. Feed with a baby spoon

Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
