Some kids are more prone to motion sickness than others, because their brains are more sensitive to motion. It happens because your child’s brain receives different messages from different parts of the body, like if they are playing with any toy or reading books their eyes are steady but other parts of the body experience motion. This mixed signal to their brain makes them feel nauseated.
Few tips to help your child’s sickness:-
**keep an eye out for early signs, baby’s experience cold sweat and gets thirsty before vomiting starts.stop the car if you can and take them out for sometime. **stop whatever they are doing and make them look out of the window. ** you can lay them down and place a cool cloth on their forehead. ** let them feel the cool air, open up the windows or let the fan point in their direction. ** make them sit in front and watch the road. ** try and schedule your trips during nap time so they can sleep and doesn't get sick.
Be prepared:-
**if your child still ends up vomiting make him drink fluids to avoid dehydration. ** keep an extra set of clothes, napkins, tissues and plastic bags handy to avoid any mess. ** carry lots of juices, crackers, which they can nibble on later.
