Multigrain idlis are a perfect breakfast recipe that provides loads of proteins, dietary fiber, calcium, vitamins, and essential nutrients.
Ingredients:
1 cup green moong
½ cup moong dal
½ cup tur dal
½ cup chana dal
½ cup urad dal
Batter fermentation:
- Add all the ingredients to a bowl and soak them for 10 hours or overnight.
- Strain it and blend the ingredients in a blender till it forms a smooth paste
- Keep the paste for fermentation for 10-12 hours.
How to prepare:
- To the fermented batter, add salt as per your taste.
- Mix the batter well and add water if needed
- Cook it in an idli steamer.
Enjoy it with sambar or your favourite chutney !!
