Murukku



Ingredients

Rice flour 1/2 kg

Roasted chana dal 2 cups

Sesame seeds 1 cup

Salt as required

Red Chilli powder 3tbsp

Sauf powder 1tbsp

Jeera 1tsp

Coarse coriander powder 1tbsp

Warm oil; 2 tbsps

Warm Water to make dough
Oil for frying

Method

👉Grind roasted chana dal into a fine powder.To this add all the other ingredients except oil and mix thoroughly.

👉Add oil and mix.Add water little by little and make it a soft dough, the dough should be much softer than atta dough that we make for chapattis.

👉Make the dough into round balls and add it to murukku maker.

👉Aluminium sheet or plastic sheet apply oil press the murukku maker in circular motion.
👉Heat the oil in kadai, once it is hot,

Deep fry the murukku till it turns into golden color. Gharma gharam murukku ready.
