My 26th week of pregnancy is about to begin and I have not gone through the triple Marker test up till now..

Please tell me if its normal that my doctor did not advise me to go through it?

I have gone through double Marker test which was all normal..

I recently read about aminocentesis and got worried as it mentioned that aminocentesis is done if the results of triple Marker test are not appropriate..

And I have not gone through triple marker😥

PLEASE HELP!!

My doctor said if double marker reports are ok, triple marker is optional, that’s why your doc must have skipped it.

Yes I hope my doctor will also give me the same answer... Though I am a bit relived after talking to you all.. But anxiety remains till I get my doctor's verdict 😋 I am a bit over cautious.. I hope you understand 🙂

If your double marker test reports are normal then triple marker is not required, if double marker is abnormal then triple is done and triple is also abnormal then and then only amniocentesis is done

Dr shilpitha said you can have other test it will help you diagnose same problems. But you should ask your doc why she ignored it.
