My 3 month old baby is not gaining weight... her birth weight was 2.7kg and after 3 months she is of 4.1 kg only. she poops a lot... while feeding she poops everytime... what should I do to control her poop and increase her weight.. she is on breast feed exclusively...

hi shurvi.&nbsp; please ask your pediatrician to plot your baby's growth on the growth chart and follow the trend . if the baby is growing along the curve it is fine .also length and head circumference monitoring should also be done in the same way.

The average breastfed baby doubles birth weight by about 3-4 months. So you baby seems to be doing fine. Just keep feeding on demand & dont bother too much about weight as long as baby is active, peeing & pooping regularly. Pooping often is no reason to worry unless the poop is very watery.
