My 4 month old baby is diagnosed with atopic dermatitis.... What is that and can it be cured?

watching a child with atopic dermatitis can be difficult. don't try to self-cure. please do consult a dermatologist. also maintain an observation sheet of what you think the triggers might be...dry climate, foods, clothes and avoid those. in my daughter's case it has lessened with age. Avoid harsh chemicals on her body and try to keep her skin hydrated.

It is typically inherited chronic condition more common among babies with a family history of allergies, eczema and asthma.. the hydrocortisone cream and antihistamines to reduce the itching may help.. but it takes time... relax and follow some tips- always keep baby cool and moisture, hydrated, use gentle moisturiser, bath with lukewarm water and short time, wear loose cotton cloths, and use mild detergents...
