The more you feed the more milk you will produce. Hence if you want to switch to exclusive breast feed then feed more often. Gradually the milk supply will increase and you can reduce the formula. Breast milk is considered to be the best feed for a baby less than six months of age.

Amruta,i agree with satyam. Do ensure that you are taking proper diet for good milk supply. 2-3 litres of water and other fluids are also very important as bm is 80% water. I was also doing combination feeding till 2 months and then slowly i took off her formula feeds and now my lo is exclusively breast fed. Do on demand feed if weight gain is fine.Do let us know how it went.

Offer your breast as much as possible.. if you feel your supply is low then start pumping after every 2 hours.. and try to reduce top feed one by one feed every 2-3 days.. but most importantly do not let your baby starve.. if you feel the baby needs top feed pls do <u>give</u>
