My baby is 20 days old... I breast feed him but my nipples have become red and it's very painful to feed him ...I don't want to give any formula milk ... What can I do for sore and red nipples...pls reply asap
Desi ghee will also help, Do not use nipple shield it will cause nipple confusion.

Hi Anjana initially it will be like that, apply your own breast milk and massage gently. Your baby's saliva is the best healer so keep breastfeeding it will become normal.

Apply some ghee while you are not feeding. You can use a nipple shield too..
