Relax. It was a genuine mistake and nothing should happen. Water isn't given COZ it causes fullness and issues with breastmilk nutrient absorption but half a cup will nly cause a full tummy for the baby. You can tell your doc to be safe but I am sure nothing will happen.. just ask your granny and others to never make this a habit.
