My baby is 2.5 months old going to be three on 31st My MIL forces the baby to make him sit since 1 month while playing with him, takes pictures of him sitting with support of pillows and all. She has experience of 2babies of this generation. So I can’t say a word on upbringing. I just want to ask whether it’s okay for my baby or not???

I told my husband as well, he said he will talk but i know inside he trusts whatever her mother does. If any doctor is here please listen to my query.. let me know anything about it.. I cannot tell her not to do it. She does it daily to make him sit.. like all time.. and then they say he likes it....

It's better to avoid this.. no need to force the baby to sit or walk soon. Let the bones be strong enough and the baby will do it on his own.. <br>
Don't argue. Ask your doctor to say in your next visit and then she will understand.. meanwhile if she is trying to do ..just gentely change the posture .or pick up the baby .

She says she will make him walk in 8-9 months.. she is very strong in her opinions.fight with me if i say any word against her. Even for baby, she says I don’t know anything. I will try what u told. Thanks

Hi 2.5 months is too young to sit, they sit anywhere between 7 to 8 months. Tell her not to, discuss with your Paediatrician infront of your husband he may pass the information to her. It's stressful for their back.
