my baby is 5 months now and she doesn't sleep without swaddling. Is it OK to continue swaddling as she has recently started rolling.? Secondly, she use to wake up only once to max twice at night for feed but from pass few nights she Wakes up every hour...her bedtime routine as well the bed , nothing has changed...so what could be the possible reason. p.s. she is healthy n show no signs of discomfort otherwise .

dear Nida , swaddling a 5 month is is not required but u can use a sleep bag. she might be growing up so make sure she is not napping too much in day . as they grow they need less sleep in day and more at night .

It's OK to continue swaddling if the baby is comfortable. Swaddle loosely so that baby gets habituated to sleeping without the swaddle. It is possible that your little one is teething and this could cause discomfort and cause her to awaken frequently at night.
