My baby is 50days old..she starts crying everyday after 8pm at night..doctor gave urine and stool test but all came normal and he told its colic pain and its quite normal in infants. He prescribed colimex df and colimex both. Doctor told colimex df i can give everyday during colic pain but colimex i can give only 2 times in a day thats sos . My concern is can i give colimex everyday at least once in a day? Because its really painfull to see my baby crying badly and become reddish that time. Please advise doctors @Dr Shilpitha Singh ; and moms. I am very tensed for this. Its killing me

My son has also suffered once with colic pain... Doc has given him colimex... But I followed the things Pavneet and Dr. Shilpitha has told here rather than giving him medicines...

Tania,,; a pedeatrician reply is- " Gas drops may or may not help. You can try laying her on her stomach across your legs or on a flat surface, sometimes the pressure helps. You can massage her stomach and bend her knees in toward her chest. Simple exercises like that can help distract them or move things along. Also make sure you are burping her well. Otherwise, consider what she's eating. If it's formula, maybe she needs a different type or a different brand. Maybe the type of bottle is allowing too much air to enter her system. If you're breastfeeding you may need to modify your diet. Otherwise, it could be a digestive issue like reflux. Try making sure she is slightly upright after feedings, perhaps in a swing, car seat or bouncer"... for my kiddo- i used to I lay her on the floor on a blanket and move her legs up and down and side to side. like a dance. It helped with both gas and constipation, and it was a good time to bond.
