my baby is 6 months old. he does not take up anything apart from milk. i had introduced bottle milk 2 months ago, but he only takes bottle while he is asleep. please help.
i do not feed bottle at night when he is asleep but during the day he takes up bottle when he is asleep. <br>
also my question was he does not take bottle when he is awake! <br>
what should i do now?

Up till six months of age babies are meant to take only breast milk or formula. Solids such as fruits or vegetables will start only after six months and that is also a small quantity. Bottles are best avoided completely as they cause infection nipple confusion over feeding jaw development issues and as rightly said if fed at night in sleep when baby is allowed to sleep with the milk in the mouth cause dental issues.

dear niharika, feeding bottle for 6 month old while asleep can cause a lot of dental problems. try to stop doing this all together. your baby might not be happy aby this but in the long run its better to remove night.feeds .ur baby will eventually.eat more during the day as he realizes night means no food n only sleep.
