my baby is 7 weeks nw... I feed him in every 2 hrs or maximum 3 hrs gap... I feed him even if he is in sleep... should I wait him to wake up or should I feed him in same schedule. .

You can now follow an on demand schedule. Which means when feed when baby asks. It could be by rooting, smacking his lips or becoming fussy. Ensure that you keep track of the number of times the baby passes urine which should be minimum seven in a twenty four hour period. The weight gain at each doctor's visit should also be appropriate. Aim at about eight feeds in a twenty four hour period but work more with baby's cues.
