My baby is throwing out milk after feeds. He is not even taking burps properly. This makes him very uncomfortable and he cries alot. Last night he cried alot after throwing up and was feeling pukish for an hour. What should I do? Is this normal in newborn babies?

Puking of milk and curdled milk is very common with Babies especially the new borns. Right now your body is still not settled how much milk to produce for your baby so the milk flow will be more, when you feed the baby keep your fingers on your breast like sisccors and feed.. This will control the flow. Also if you see the baby taking too much milk gently unlatch. Baby will also not know how much to drink, so all this confusion. Do not worry as the days goes your baby will know how much to drink and according to that your body will produce milk. Try to hold the baby on upright position for 10 mins atleast as of now, if you think baby has tummy pain then make hing paste and gently massage. With the symptoms you are saying it shows the baby is taking extra milk and it very very common. My daughter use to do that.. Don't panic. This too shall pass!
