My baby was born premature at 34 weeks with a birth weight of 1.9kg Now at 3.5 months her weight is 4.5 kg. My pead says that her gain is fine. She is exclusively breastfeeded. Apart from her low weight she never had any health issues. Absolutely active, reaching milestones on time, no crankines. I do feed her frequently. Wanted to know if anything I can add in my diet that can boost her weight gain?

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. My family too provides me similar suggestion, that I should not worry about the weight as long as she is active. Just that I get disheartened seeing my baby in 1 percentile weight at every Dr’s appointment :)

Hey the baby is doing fine as you said and will gradually gain weight ...
You continue to have a healthy diet and feed the baby exclusively. TC

The baby I delete ripples the birth weight by one your Reshma and if the baby is active please do not worry or find out ways to increase your weight in fact weight gain in toddlers also is not that healthy they become very lethargic so as long as the baby is active all is good anyways you are a few recipes that you can start on in a month or so #weaningfoods
