My baby's Paediatrician ..💗

Aarav's birth was a slightly tough one, (will share it in another post). When he was pulled out, yes he was pulled out using forceps. There were two men in the labour room apart from my husband and I was totally freaking out, apart from the whole labour process, what are these two men doing here ?? Arghhhh.... So, they both these men were rushed in even before their OPD timing due to my condition. One of them was neonatal neuro doc, while the other was my baby's now paediatrician Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta.;



Aarav's heartbeat had gone as low as 90 and he chocked because of the cord and wasn't breathing properly. He was rushed to the NICU, and I started to panic. After a lil while, when my stitches were done and I was asked to relax. This man walks back in and starts talking and that's when I realised he was a Paediatrician. He just assured me saying my baby was doing fine and I should really rest . My baby was in the NICU for a day and a half. I was taken there to see him, meet and try feeding him but wasn't told anything. He was put through a lot of tests because of being delivered by forceps.;



But this man, constantly visited and assured that everything was fine even before the reports were in hand. Aarav is gonna be 3 soon, but we've never wanted to or want to change his paediatrician. Never suggests unnecessary medication, doesn't scare us with any unwanted tests and terminologies. Is very patient and humble to questions and or appreciations. I know, I can sit at home and message him and he would suggest what's the next step. Has never administered vaccination before checking Aarav's growth and developmental milestones. Understands and takes the time to settle with the baby to avoid stranger phobia. He is my Aarav's friend docca (that's what my son addresses him as), my Aarav is also sure that if he's unwell then his docca will help him. Never encouraged formula milk as I was lactating well and always was a thumbs up for home cooked food for him. An amazing person who will surely wait even after his OPD timing, just by a call that he would have received directly or to the hosp.;



An amazing person both at heart and his career. Always glad and cheerful, also ensures to keep us well informed about every medication or vaccine prescribed.;
