My current situation... My day starts at 5 am. I finish my cooking work of breakfast n lunch by 7 am. I need to pack her school snacks and daycare lunch. Need to wake up lil one n rush her to washroom . Her feed takes longer. she leaves to school by 7 35 am. Hubby takes the responsibility of dropping her. Then its his turn .. preparingbhis breakfast hot followed by his n my lunch packing. He is out and I quickly finish my breakfast. All are out by 8 45. BIGGEST CHALLENGE OF THIS IS JOURNEY -is my daughter asking ME..Amma why do I go to Daycare? Why dont you pick me? When dad works in a Bank and gives you money , whats the necessity for you to work? Why do my friends come back home directly and their moms pick them?
These questions really hurt me.. the guilt feeling that am not being a good mom... the saddest part she doesnt eat a single bite of food at daycare. She says mam..il eat only with my mom.. she will be hungry too :-(
Such matured this generation kids are. We go home and then I feed her. And she sleeps in my arms just like she did when she was a baby. My evening goes keeping stuff ready for next day. Followed by dinner preprations. I take out time to get her Homework done. I take her out for playing with kids. Her usual playtime of 1 hr. The time runs at such faster pace as if morning is already here. Her feeds go on for an hour. By the time we 3 have a good laughter and full day updates, both are midway flat asleep. My thoughts are all again for what to cook next day... how would she be at school? Hope she atleast eats her tiffin today... these are the thoughts that keep haunting. I never realize when my mobile slides through my hands and when im of to sleep.
The next thing I do everyday as a routine .. SNOOZING THE ALARM 3 TIMES :-( Gals... Its indeed a tough decision for every mom to get back to work but I would suggest every girl to STAND FOR HERSELF, BE INDEPENDENT, THINK OF FUTURE!
Each kid is different and they take time in adjusting. But also will add kids are the ones who get adjusted soon. So keep a target for urself. Start with freelancing or jobs that TEACH u something than being paid.
Experience matters alot. Tpday if I have gained confidence its coz I have opted to work and learn things for last 2 yrs than to sit idle.
An Idle mind is a devils paradise. NEVER GIVE UP. ALL WHONHAVE A SUPPORTING HUSBAND AND FAMILY , PLEASE ENSURE U START SONEWHERE. ITS A TOUGH CALL BUT AM SURE EACH OF US WILL BE PROUD OF OURSELEVES ONE DAY!
