My first delivery was a sudden call so I didn't get enough time to pack my bags for hospital. But this time before the arrival of baby number two.;
I started packing early at around 36 weeks.;

Today I am going to share everything that I packed in my hospital bag to make sure our stay in the hospital was comfortable. What really helped me for that is I packed stuff in two different bags which were different in size as well. This was very useful as the large one was for me and the small one was for the baby. It kept things sorted and easily accessible for any third person. Here's the list of all the essentials that you need for your much awaited moment :
Mommy essentials;-Hospital file, insurance. Maternity gowns with front opening, scarves. Nursing bra, extra absorbent pads, extra undies, breast pads, slippers. Toiletries like toothbrush & toothpaste, hand wash, face wash, face cream, lip balm. A nice set of clothes for coming back home.
Baby essentials;-

Newborn clothes, mittens & cap, swaddling clothes, a blanket.;
Diapers, cloth nappies, Wet wipes, sanitizer and mosquito repellent.;
Baby bedding, polythin mat to protect the bed from getting wet, U-shaped pillow with black mustard seeds which support the head of newborn baby.
;In the long run it's a must as it helps in giving a natural shape to the newborn's head.
Car seat and baby carrier
