Suckling will increase the breast milk supply. It will not cause pain or burning sensation if the latch and position is correct. If you feel the left side is softer and appears lighter but baby is satisfied then there is no cause for concern. If you feel that there is no flow when you try to express or the flow is less then you can express for a few minutes on that side after baby finishes feeding to help Stimulate further.

hey raveena, why do you feel milk is low? milk production can be more in one breast, thats normal, does not mean that other one is low on supply... feed baby alternating on both breasts at each feed, let her drain one breast at a time... if breast is not feeling full(like it did in the starting days when you first start bf) does not mean milk has reduced.. it just means your body has become expert at knowing how much milk baby needs... breasts continuously produce milk, once initial supply has been established and baby regularly feeds... take care dear...

Raveena.. Try massaging it with warm water before you allow your baby suck.
