My left thigh skin (particular area) has pricking pain and that area is also numb. This happens if I stand or sit for long time. It's there for a week, what could be the reason?

Hello..<br>
It is commonly called as numbness or pins and needles sensation which is due to pressure on nerves or the blood vessels that supply nerves. This often happens after you have been in an awkward position, like sitting cross-legged, or it may be the sign of a trapped nerve. And sometimes it may be due to diabetes also.. which damages the tiny nerve endings called as peripheral neuropathy.. it would be best if you talk with your doctor..

Blood circulation stops, perhaps thats why? Keep shaking ur legs or moving gently to keep the circulation going.
