My LO is 6 days old and she hates being swaddled. No matter how tight or loose we swaddle her, she immediately gets out of it and becomes irritable. We are using soft old cotton saris for swaddling but she still hates it.
Is swaddling important? For how long and when should we swaddle? As she doesn't seem to like it.

Hi Madhu if she doesn't like then don't do. Can't say its important because swaddling is done to keep the baby comfortable but if the baby itself not comfortable then what is the point.
