My malish Wali was dng malish for my baby my LO is 28 days old n today she says that she saw some red spots which on his bum when she was dng malish which means that while rubbing oil. On his bum the insects from the root of the hair comes out to eat oil.. M. Using mustard oil. N she says it's kadwa oil so. Thy come. Out n it doesn't come while using coconut oil.. Does ths have any logic? As my baby has hair on his back part which also includes bum (it can be the hair while rubbing comes together n she would be pulling the same ) pls answer m very much tensed.

I love to hear these kind of stories. Just listen and enjoy. .no need to be worried. The red spots on the bum is natural and sometimes it will appear on their own and disappear. The baby hairs will fall off on their own..no need extra forcefully rubbing. I suggest you to massage rather than any malignant walis. This massaging time is good for bonding with baby and you can actually enjoy that mom-baby time. There is no insects and all those blah blah blah. You any oil which suits baby.

Hello..<br> firstly those tiny hairs on baby's body called lanugo will fed off by its own,, massage doent helps to remove hairs.. second is nothing like insects or eating- that happens its a big myth.. and third mustard oil and olive oil in winter, coconut oil in summer are considered as best..

pls take the child to the doctor and let him.give u something and pls domt let maalishwali give a massage to ur baby. msaage is a way of bondimg with the child. if u can,&nbsp; pls do it urself

Hey do u use diaper ?? In that case it can b diaper rash as u mentioned its on his bum.. Please change the oil as too much of heat also causes rashes...
