My most vivid memories of Diwali are of making the fort or 'killa' as we used to call it. At the start of Diwali vacations, we would start planning for it - collecting stones, mud, sawdust, sometimes even funds to buy the figurines - Shivaji Maharaj, his 'mavalas'. And at the end of it, we would all be so proud! I would love my daughter to have such an experience! What are your most fond memories of Diwali? @Priya Sood @asha chaudhry @Sumira Bhatia @Shruti Giri @Kamalini Rao @Khushboo Chouhan @shravani D @E Shwetha @Deepa G #tagfwd

P.S.: This is an image off the internet. I don't have any pictures of our killas :-(
