my one month old baby pees shortly after I feed him, this disturbs his sleep. after I change home again needs feed to sleep again. then the cycle repeats again. what can I do to make sure he sleeps better? my mother in law is totally against diapers, she says it not breathable and will cause a rash. so I have to use a cloth.

I would recommend trying modern cloth diapers. they are made of clothes only, totally chemical free, they r reusable but the child stays dry in them

A baby this age can pass urine about 18 times a day and if you feel this is disturbing his sleep then it's fine to use disposable diapers or nappy pads at some time during the day. When baby is active and playful you can use cloth nappies.

Shweta, proper sleep is important for a child's healthy growth and development. The baby, at this age, will pee after every feed. Making him wear a diaper will allow him to sleep peacefully. You can convince your mother in law to make the baby wear diaper when he sleeps. When he is awake keep him diaper free. Or else there are many variety of cloth diapers too that are absorbent. You can try that as well.
