My personal views while shopping for kids :

1) Comfortable clothing - As kids are active all the time it is important that their clothes and footwear are comfortable while sitting, walking, jumping, playing, etc.

2) Texture of clothes - I make sure quality is perfect as it doesn't hurt or itch the skin.

3) Proper openings like buttons, zippers, etc. Example like if I want to buy jumpsuit I make sure it has openings at inside seam of bottoms orelse using washroom becomes difficult.

4) I avoid fancy clothes for longer hours. Even if we are attending wedding or any celebration, I make kids wear comfortable clothes during the travel and change to fancy clothes at the venue.
Outgrown clothes

1) Mostly donate them

2) Many lifestyle stores have come up with recycling if clothes concept. It's like we get discount coupons in exchange of old clothes. So it's kund of charity with some benefit.
