My son is 4 months 10 days but still he cannot balance his head by himself...is their anything to worry...coz wherever I go people say "Ur son is 4 months and still; annoy balance his head"! At which month does a baby usually hold his head by himself?? Please suggest and help..

Anindita, theres nothing to worry. Kids take some time to completely get a stable head. Give tummy time to your lo. That will make his neck muscles stronger. All the bes5!

Hello dear Anindita, usually baby takes 3-4 months to make his head balanced by his own.. still there is no need to worry as each baby is different from others.. make sure you are carrying him straight and giving proper support to his neck while carrying straight in standing position.. allow to him to practice and very soon he will balance his neck.. :) take care.

My baby is 5.5 months and her head still wobbles a little when made to sit and she yet cannot sit without support or roll over. Interested to know what other moms say
