My Superfood of the Week : Broccoli What you should know ❓❓Superfoods are Nutrient rich foods loaded with lot of Health benefits ☝and Brocolli is one the healthiest veggies because it's loaded with various Vitamins (A,C,K ) ,fibres ,rich in antioxidants ,Folates and much more . How to make your lil ones consume Broccoli ❓❓ I was looking for different ways to feed Broccoli to my lil one because of its numerous health benefits but since it does not tastes that great hence my lil one rejected it every time it was being offered 🙄.As a next step , I started googling around to see what different ways I can offer Brocolli to my kiddo so that it's consumed happily but to my surprise most of the Brocolli dishes shared on Google by most of the websites requires a Microwave oven 😱 and unfortunately I don't own one and I am sure there are many out there who might face similar issues .That's where I experimented Brocolli while cooking regular meals at home 👇👇 👇👇👇👇👇👇 👇👇👇👇👇 🌸Brocolli Rice or Khichdi -Saute the Brocolli Florets in a saucepan or cooker along with garlic ,onion ,cumin seeds by adding Ghee.Add Moong daal+ Rice in equal quantities along with water and salt..Close the lid and let it cook for few whistles and its ready to eat . This one is a hit with my lil one because she loves rice (I think most babies love ) and since Brocolli gets completely dissolved in rice so there is no way your lil one can identify the hidden veggies .You can add generous amount of home made curd over this Khichdi to make it more tempting and healthy for your lil one ❤❤❤❤ 🌸Broccoli Fritters :Coat the Broccoli Florets in Gram Flour after adding appropriate amount of Coriander and salt in Gram four and shallow fry till its light golden brown. Serve it with homemade coriander or mint chutney ❤
You can offer Broccoli to Babies above 1years of age ❤ Note :It's advisable to consume fresh veggies within a day or two so avoid refrigeration for a long 🙏 Do try this Superfood Recipes at home and let me know if it worked ❤
