You can add all kinds of vegetables you want and dal.Goes great with rice ..Especially for fussy eaters you can just make it with all veggies like pumpkin raw bananas , papaya n pumpkin n potatoes n much more ... Boil veggies n dal (arhar or moving n arhar mixed ).give a tadka of ginger garlic n red chillies with Panch phutan ( jeera,mustard ,kaoinji,saunf,methi ) and add jeera powder to it at last Sometimes during the fast season we do it without the tadka n garlic onion ..it was very well presented by Sakshi Talwar in one of her episodes..copying the link here ...hope you all like it !!
