Hello mommies !!
I am sure most of you will agree that it's an important part of parenting to educate kids about nature. They have to be educated about the environment they live in and the beginning of this education is to make them love it !!
Outdoor play and bonding with nature naturally makes them come closer to it and in the long run they will learn to protect it ..

Here I would like to list out a few places in and around Navimumbai; which will be interesting for kids and also they can bond with nature !!
1. The Ovalekar Wadi Butterfly Garden Thane:
It houses many colorful butterflies with various colurs and species .. The kids will surely love to be around .
2. Coastal and Marine Bio diversity Center , Airoli:
It showcases the Flora and Fauna of airoli and vicinity . It is a Marine bio diversity park.The flamingoes of the Thane Creek are s treat to the eyes . They have various interactive videos . Still under development but the place is a must see for all.
3. Karnala Bird Sanctuary :
As the name suggests it's a bird Sanctuary located near Panvel. It is a home to as many as 150 species of resident birds and 37 types of avian migrants .An amazing place to visit especially during winters

4.khargar Hills:
This is one best spots near Navi Mumbai especially during the monsoons but it can be visited through out the year because of the rich Fauna and flora . It again a home to many beautiful birds.
5. Sewri Mangrove Park:
It's beautiful place and if you are lucky you can have a sea of Flamingoes.If it's a low tide then you can watch a lot of Flamingoes and other Sea birds .
