Mirena itself is releasing progesterone so your periods can be irregular because of that..nothing to worry... I hope you have been counselled that you can also get done spotting in between till about 6 months

My lmp in Feb was on 22nd.. mirena was inserted on 24th Feb.. got my periods on 22nd March which lasted for 8 days!<br> Yes my doc had prescribed this med for delaying the periods..<br> What should I do now?
