Every January I do it. I vow to make the coming year better one by making New year resolutions that revolve around my body, career and food.
So this year why not I try some easier, gentler and more mindful resolutions ? Ones that in the end may not make me slimmer but will make me better, happier and more spiritually healthy mom. Here’s my list -

1. Back Away From the Cleaning-
I am going to spend less time cleaning and more time playing! The kid won't remember if the house was perfectly clean all the time but he will remember having fun with me.

2.To not use the word “Don't"
I want to reduce how often I use the word "don't." That means I'll say, "You will get hurt by touching it” instead of "Don't you dare to touch it." I think it's better for our relationship for me not to always be the source of negative reminders. When I do say "don't" for an important reason, maybe it will stick more since they are not barraged by "don'ts" constantly.

3. Stop comparing
I have already stopped it. It’s a complete waste of brain energy.Your house, cars , kids are all yours not any body else’s . Don’t get bogged down by others. Also do not compare your kids if you find better kids around. I will learn to be happier for others’ success and not resentful.
