it was nursing strike from my baby during my first time. it was very difficult. I tried to feed her but she would refuse. I had to express it and then give it . I had to use nan 1 as well because she would not take my feed herself. had very difficult time with my first born

i couldnt feed my baby for than 20 dayss..couldnt produce the milk..was painful and depressing on top of it all that guilt of failing at being a mom..started giving her Nan Pro..what a savior it was..she started crying less..used to sleep more..started having proper weight gain..by noticing all these positive changes my worries were all sorted and i was relieved and happy..FED is BEST ..be is formula or breast milk..

ohh this ...was very painful intially for me ...thought of not holding my baby and not breast feed him for intial month after his birth.since he was very premature , and during his nicu stay of 50 days , he was given feed (my milk )thru food pipe and then katori spoon.intially after his birth I couldn't make any milk, due to emotional stress , gradually I started expressing milk and then he was regularly Given expressed breast milk in nicu as per demand . when he was fighting for his survival and my capacity as a mother was nothing ,I couldn't hold him, cannot touch him, limited seeing hours and all made me guilty a the time, unlike normal full term.babies where the first thing every baby does after birth was latch, to me my baby latching was far dream , there where lot of obstacles and step by step we crossed it. first time I remember when I was seating in stairs of hospital waiting for my turn to meet my baby, after 4th day of his birth my husband came to me happily encouraging me saying: ' hey they need milk' go n express it, nurse will guide u, this was my first expression of milk , and when my baby ws given few drops via food pipe , I felt so connected ,I felt m alive.truely mothers milk is divine and it has proved so valuable for my baby , every time I saw him ,my.milk increased , and after kmc more, my doctor told me always the thing u can do for your son is give him your milk.so before coming to my arms before touching him , it was mothers milk he got in his life. my baby was exckusivley breast feed after his discharge also, when he learnt to suck.we started formula after doctors approval at 7 months of his actut age and that too only when my.milk was less. I can't express in words what I felt when I saw ok ther mothers feeding baby ,in nursing rooms, and even after my delivery mothers happily nursing babies after birth, I kept crying madly and my husband just told me -see one day u will be tired of feeding and baby will take milk directly ...and it happened. I just want to say , in.my case my milk was magical for baby but in case your not having enough milk and your formula feeding baby it's fine ,dong load yourself much , it's just very body's situation and God gives the best strength to every mother to decide and do best for their babies.
