When thinking about a legacy, monetary provisions are often the first to come to mind.;How much property in form of land, house, jewelry and money we are going to leave for kids. It is very important to make sure that even after you are gone your kids live a comfortable life,
But is it only about money?
People will remember the impact we had on them or the memories they have with us.
The smell of breakfast on Saturday morning, the feeling of the goodnight hug, the sound of the car coming up the driveway, the taste of mom’s aloo paratha, the jokes told around the dinner table—it is often the smallest moments that make the biggest memories.

Time Together;– The family that eats together stays together, is what Bollywood has taught us and yes it’s true, we can have candida discussions at the dinner table, we can share our thoughts and opinions. Teach your kids the value of family, tell them bonding and sharing. Teach them to express themselves, most of the relationships get strained because people can’t articulate and express what they feel. If the bond of family is strong and sealed by love you definitely are leaving an awesome legacy behind.Empathy & Compassion- If Possible have a pet, it teaches kids to be compassionate, kind, gentle. Being compassionate and empathetic is a best quality of being a human being. Teach them Kindness and Generosity, Tell them the importance of giving back to the society. Make humans passionate for Humanity.Follow your dreams- Let them fly, give them confidence that “don’t worry, if you fall I’m here”. Let you kids follow their dreams. Very less people actually get to follow their dreams, most of the dreams are crushed below the weight of “meeting the ends”, “meting everyone’s expectations”. Let them chase the dreams.Be independent- Being independent doesn’t necessarily mean being financially independent, but it also means being emotionally independent, Taking responsibility of your actions, the confidence of taking decisions and standing by it. Tech kids basic life hacks they must know how to survive if they are left alone. Teach them importance of saving money, penny earned is penny saved is one of the best learning in life.Honesty- Being honest is something that actually is a legacy and is passed from generation to generation, people who see parents being dishonest in relationships, work and even worship tend to go the same path, and they don’t know it’s wrong. For them they are just following what they have seen and we all know kids do what they see rather than what they are told.
Legacy is inheritance, inheritance means what you get from your parents and ancestors. What can be better than a well-groomed personality and the ability to become an amazing human being?
