Now that my baby is independent and playing and feeding herself Everything from sand to food to paint ends up in her hair. So that’s a new challenge for me to get her to tie her hair and wash it because she hates it.
Some simple tricks that i’m following:-
*I like her hair tied. I avoid open hair locks and make it a point to keep it tied every time *I have got her interested in her hair with different hair clips and colourful rubber bands. *Brush it with wide toothed comb to get the tangles out easily. Hold their hair from the roots to avoid pulling. *When it comes to washing hair be gentle. I wash her hair and tilt her head backwards and slowly pour water on her hair to remove the soap. Remember to wash their hair at last so they are clean and the remains of shampoo gets washed easily from their body. *Do not shampoo daily only twice a week is good. *Oil it regularly it really helps to keep the hair in place. Don’t fill her hair with oil just a little to avoid them from getting dirty. *While tying their hair make sure you put the rubber band loose. Loosen the hair from roots to avoid hair damage and hair fall. *Avoid using those normal rubber bands instead use the cloth ones.
Let them have those cute ponytails and pigtails. They will gradually start loving those little bows and clips in their hair.
