Nutricia Dexolac or Nan? what is the difference? hospital has given Dexolac...but I see many parents giving Nan? how should one choose what to give? doctors say to only give Mother's milk.

My lo birth weight had reduced from 3.1 to 2.65 in the 1st mth hence was prescribed Dexolac. Am still continuing it with expressed bm, lo is 4 mths now

our baby was 3.5 KGS and he was prescribed Dexolac. anyways continuing the same as that was what was prescribed by the Dr from day one as and when required.

Dexolac is prescribed only if the baby is born with a weight of 2.5ks and less that is pre-term and low birth weight, so you can use it till your baby reaches a weight of 2.5 to 3 kgs then on only with drs prescription you can change it to lactogen or nan or Enfamil A+.
