One thing I have noticed is that we always talk and discuss about what to eat in pregnancy but hardly seen a few people asking about the posture to be maintained. Hence I'm sharing with u all a few ways of maintaining good posture...
What is good posture in pregnancy -
Good posture (the position in which you hold your body while standing, sitting, or lying down) during pregnancy involves training your body to stand, walk, sit, and lie in positions where the least amount of strain is placed on your back.

Sharing with u all a few ways. Hope it helps us..
What Is the Correct Way to Stand During Pregnancy?

Hold your head up straight with your chin in. 1) Do not tilt your head forward, backward, down or sideways.

2) Keep your shoulder blades back and your chest forward.

3) Keep your knees straight, but not locked.

4) Point your feet in the same direction, with your weight balanced evenly on both feet. The arches of your feet should be supported with low-heeled (but not flat) shoes to prevent stress on your back.

5) Avoid standing in the same position for a long time.
What Is the Correct Way to Sit During Pregnancy?

1) Sit up with your back straight and your shoulders back. Your buttocks should touch the back of your chair.

2) Sit with a back support (such as a small, rolled-up towel or a lumbar roll) at the curve of your back. Pregnancy pillows can also be used.

3) Try to avoid sitting in the same position for more than 30 minutes.

4) When standing up from the sitting position, move to the front of the seat of your chair. Stand up by straightening your legs. Avoid bending forward at your waist.
What Is the Best Position for Sleeping and Lying Down During Pregnancy?

1) Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back (such as on your side with your knees slightly bent and with a pillow between your knees). Do not sleep on your side with your knees drawn up to your chest.

2) When standing up from the lying position, turn on to your side, draw up both knees and swing your legs to the bed’s side. Sit up by pushing yourself up with your hands. Avoid bending forward at your waist.

3) When standing up from the lying position, turn on to your side, draw up both knees and swing your legs to the bed’s side. Sit up by pushing yourself up with your hands. Avoid bending forward at your waist.
Hope this is useful for all of us..
