Pregnancy, delivery and then becoming a new parent this whole process feels like an eternity. So to get rid of this monotony I recently planned a trip to Kerela with my 7.5 months old baby, but you see when you are a new mom you are full of doubts, apprehensive about everything and i was no different. There are two broad things that is non negotiable for every mother i guess, and it is definitely going to be Hygiene and quality of baby food. So, I packed few things which helped me maintaining my priorities.
️⃣ Induction cooker Many would say that you can use hotel kettle for hot water but someone like me who is so particular about the hygiene can not recommend that. So I carried my induction cooker along with a saucepan. It eased all my worries. I didn’t have to compromise on her food. She had her proper meal in all the days we stayed.
️⃣ Carry raw dal and rice. Just get some veggies from local or order at the hotel and scrumptious khichdi is ready for the little one . 3️⃣ Carry cerelac and flask all the time.
️⃣ Dettol spray and sanitizer .
️⃣ Thermometer and all emergency medicines.
️⃣ Always carry a cap, fleece and a cotton cloth. As it is very important for your baby to get adjusted with the outside temperature specially when you are in a new land and temperature fluctuates randomly.
️⃣ Some basic and must like diaper changing sheet, diapers, diaper rash cream , coconut oil, sunscreen, set of extra cloth, water sipper , baby’s favourite toy, wet tissues, toilet roll, newspaper and a zipper to keep the wet clothes.
️⃣ Do not forget to give baby a diaper free time to avoid rashes. As when we are travelling babies are mostly on diapers so it is important to give them diaper free time. So carry extra number of dry sheets.
