burping the baby after feed is very important.hold the baby on your shoulder,baby stomach shoulder,start patting from lower back to upper back,baby will burp.do it till the <u>baby</u> burps thrice even if the 1st burp is a big one.this is tried and tested and is successful.earlier my 5.5 month old used to throw up a lot because of lack of burping.

timely eating and having lot of water is necessary for feeding mom.. and don't worry children's do puke at <u>times</u>

she is not burping well ... might be throw of milk is very heavy I <u>guess</u>

One time vomiting is not considered alarming. At times baby may over feed, may not have burped well enough or may have been held in a wrong position. If baby appears well and does not throw up again just relax. If the vomiting happens again or of the baby appears uncomfortable then you must visit the doctor. Your diet has no connection to the occasional throw up and spit up and avoiding foods will deprive your body of valuable nutrients.
