Ingredients for Popcorn Bhel - Cook Smart Recipe
Corn kernels for popcorn 2 cups
Oil 3 tablespoons
Medium onion 1
Medium tomato 1
Fresh mint leaves 15-20
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Green chillies chopped 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Lemons 2
Nylon sev as required
Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add corn and mix. Cover with the lid without the whistle and let the corn pop.
Step 2
Chop onion and tomato finely. Finely chop mint leaves.
Step 3
When all the corn kernels have popped, put them into a large mixing bowl. Add onion, tomato, mint leaves, red chilli powder, green chillies, chaat masala and little salt. Squeeze the juice of lemon and mix well.
Step 4
Add sev and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
