To avoid constipation and also to maintain a proper balance in your body. Fibers must be included in your daily diet. There are various food which contains fiber like : **Pears (with the skin)** **Dalia** **Carrot** **Urad daal or split black gram**
Urad dal is one of the best sources for folic acid. Try this urad daal tadka today.
1. Wash and soak 1 cup urad daal for at least 20 mins. Drain the water. 2. Put dal in 2 cups water in pressure cooker and add 1 tsp salt, 2 pinches turmeric and 2 tbsp ginger. Cook for 2-3 whistles. 3. Once steam is released, check if daal is soft. Add 1/4 tbsp garam masala, and 1/2 tsp mango powder (optional), mix it well. 4. Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a small saucepan. 5. Add the 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, hing (asafoetida) and green chillies, stir for a few seconds. Add red chilly powder (as required) and 1 tbsp of water to prevent the spices from burning. 6.
