After i started with weaning i was thinking to give something nutritious to my babies. Apart from the homemade cerelac n khichdi n soups i still wanted to give something healthy to them.
So thought to make dry fruit's powder, but than how to give that powder to baby was an issue.. as i dont wanted to mix that powder in khichdi or cerelac which i made.
So thought of adding jaggery n ghee to it n making balls of the same.
HERE IS THE RECEPIE
ALMONDS: 6-7
CASHEW NUTS: 5-6
PISTACHIOS: 6-7
WALNUTS: 6-7 (piece)
jaggery: half bowl
ghee: 1 table sp
dry ginger powder: 1/4th t spoon
Grind the dry fruits in mixture. Make fine powder of the same.
Heat ghee on a pan and add jaggery. once it starts melting, add dry fruit powderand dry ginger powder to it.. mix well n let it cool.. once cooled make small balls of the same.
dry fruits are full of vitamins n protiens and jaggery added is godd for iron. ghee is good for bones.
So those who have started weaning can try this out mumma's

following my lil moppets for another toddler in my house......have gone through many articles...some says start but some doesn't....my pediatric also asked to give almonds but health educator and a panel of doctors in a workshop asked to avoid honey, animal milk and nuts till one year and there are many things anyways to feed her so I didn't bother to avoid for another 3 months.... it's totally your decision as mumma knows best 😘
