Pregnancy is the most beautiful phase that every woman goes through. Can say it is the most amazing ride that we all want to hop on to but no journey is complete without the bumpers. And the same happens in this journey too.

One of the most common issues that accompanies alongwith the news is MORNING SICKNESS.

However great you feel coz of this new change morning sickness ensures definitely holds you back for a while. 😁

Well this symptom generally occurs in the first trimester and at max stays until 5months. For me luckily it stayed only for a month specifically in the 2nd month of pregnancy (thankgod).

My mornings used to begin with a lot of nausea followed by vomitting. I literally used to drag myself out of the bed everyday. But thanks to my gynae and to all the tried and tested Daadi ke nuskhe this ordeal passed for me too. So some of the things that I tried and worked wonders for me are:

1)Sniffing Lemon peels : I was highly allergic to perfumes or any scents and Sniffing on lemon peels used to work like magic .
2)Ginger Or Rosemary infused warm water : My day used to begin and end with this magical potion. Used to be so relaxing to the mind and helped with dealing with nausea like pro. Also ginger should be used in very limited quantity as too much of it used to cause loose motions sometimes. I remember taking it on alternate days and in controlled quantities
3) Morning Walks: No remedy can beat the fresh and refreshing smell of fresh air. Even though I used to feel quite lethargic coz of the changing hormones I ensured I go for my morning walks everyday. Starting the day on a fresh note always helped. (Infact I continued this until 8months of pregnancy)
4) Meditation alongwith Deep Breathing and also increased intake of fluids.
5) munching on nuts and crackers and semi-sweet chocolate chips once in a while wouldn't hurt.It will satisfy your hunger without weighing you down 😊
These are some of my tried and tested remedies which helped me of not completely overcome but deal with nausea like a pro. Also staying positive and focussing on the reason of why this is happening to you would also keep you self motivated and Happy. After all these symptoms indicate that baby is growing 🤗
